A cultural institution

The Erholungshaus in Leverkusen-Wiesdorf is Leverkusen’s oldest cultural venue. It opened in 1908, just a few years after the founding of the former paint factories in Leverkusen. The striking building on Nobelstraße serves as a venue for music and dance for both the cultural department of Bayer AG and the company’s ensembles.

The large hall seats more than 680 people. The hall, stage, foyer and studio provide a suitable setting not only for cultural events but also for conferences, lectures, workshops and shows. In summer, the adjacent Erholungspark attracts visitors with its relaxed beer garden atmosphere. The ‘Kulisse’ restaurant in the Erholungshaus is also available to guests for private functions.
